My Managering Directors asked me to arrange an evening out for 24 of us, this included Staff, husbands and wives, I reviewed alot of restaurants in W1 and found Da Paolo. I looked on line and also went to see the restaurant for myself, it felt like a warm and friendly place. When we arrived on the evening we were made very welcome by all the staff, our waiter could not do enough for us all, rushing around making sure meals were out quickly, bearing in mind we only ordered on that night and not in advance, and our glasses were always filled. As for the food it was fantastic, we were offered Olives and bread before our starters, which was a very nice gesture. As for the wine, I am not a wine drinker normally but this wine was great. At the end of the evening everyone had commented to me how nice the evening had turned out and how good the food was. If I had to organise another evening meal I would book at Da Paolo's. I would recommend this to everyone. In fact I hope to be going back there myself with my Husband soon for our anniversary.

I took my partner here for his 18th birthday as a romantic meal out for both of us.
The food variety is amazing and there is something that would suit everyone on the menu form starters to main through to deserts.
The service was very quick and presentation of the food was excellent and waitresses and waiters were so polite and provided an overall great experience

28 of us had a great Christmas lunch on 10 Dec 07 Everyone was very impressed with the food - quantity and quality - and we found the staff very friendly. All went smoothly and it was good value for money.
An out of the way little restaurant we'd be happy to support on future occasions

I visit Da Paolo Restaurant every time I come to London and I always feel very welcome. The food is without any question wonderfull all the time and the service is superb. Though its a little place, you feel like that's what you need to escape from our busy and loud London.

I planned a surprise trip to london for my partner and wanted a cosy restaurant for us to dine in after a show,I came across Da Paolo online and noticed that all the reviews were excellent so took a chance. I was not disappointed, the food was fantastic as was the service, we were made to feel very welcome and the general ambeince of the place is warming indeed. The food was fantastic and the offer of olives and warm ciabatta before our starter was a very nice touch indeed! I would recommend this charming place to anyone who wants a quiet, unobtrusive, romantic dinner for 2.

I chose this restaurant for our office Christmas lunch (for 19) having read other reviews and noting that it was recommended for group dining. I must say it lived up to its reputation. Both the food and wines were excellent, as well as the service.

I have eaten twice at Da Paolo and have really enjoyed the experience. The food is terrific as are both service and ambiance. It offers excellent value for money and Carlos, the owner who presides, is a wonderful host. Full marks!

Have eaten here twice before and it gets better and better!! The waiters are always nice and personal and the food genourusly prepared. :) infact i am taking a group of 8 people there from out of town tonite :)

I booked this restaurant after reading the fantastic reviews from previous customers.
I must admit, the food was absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We were made to feel very welcome and a surprise for my boyfriend of a birthday pudding was bought out to him!
A fantastic restaurant which thoroughly deserves the fantastic reviews that it gets! Worth every penny! I'll definately be back next time im in London.

Seven of us went for a birthday dinner, and it was wonderful!!! If you are looking for somewhere very cosy with very good portions and good value - look no further. The service was warm and happy and the small size of the place meant that the atmosphere resembles that of a small restaurant on the Chincqe Terre!

Had dinner at Da Paolo last night with my girlfriend and I must say I was very impressed.
Food was excellent and the service was irreproachable. Our table was wonky but was replaced immediately and when we ordered another bottle of wine which they had run out of, they gave us a bottle of champagne for the same price.
Combined with a good atmosphere and reasonable prices, I will definitely be going back.
